Why Choose DIA

Brightness You Can Control From Wet End to Coating

Paper brightness is affected by furnish chemistry dosage point retention and the brightener itself. DIA supplies grades for different stages of paper production so mills can select the right balance of fibre affinity solubility and whitening performance.

Grades for Every Dosing Point

Disulpho, tetrasulpho and hexasulpho optical brighteners for wet end, size press and coating applications.

Support for Different Furnishes

Grade selection support for virgin pulp recycled fibre mixed furnish and processes where residual brightener can affect the final dosage.

Consistent Strength

Controlled strength from lot to lot helps keep dosage stable and reduces unnecessary corrections during production.

Documentation & Compliance Support

TDS MSDS product specifications and relevant commercial documents are available for domestic and export requirements.

From Paper Requirement to Reliable Supply

Share Your
Requirement

Tell us your paper grade furnish dosing point target brightness, current OBA and monthly consumption. These details help us identify the right starting grade.

Product & Technical Support

We recommend a grade based on wet end size press or coating application along with furnish conditions and required brightness. Samples can be provided for laboratory or mill trials.

Documentation & Commercial Coordination

Our team shares TDS MSDS specifications, pricing packaging and relevant commercial documents before bulk ordering.

Supply &
Follow-up

Once the grade is approved we coordinate regular supply and support repeat orders with consistent product specifications.

How We Support You

Frequently Asked Questions.

Q1. Which optical brightener is best for the paper industry?

The right OBA depends on where it is added and how much fibre affinity or solubility the process requires. Disulpho grades are commonly considered where higher affinity is needed while tetra and hexasulpho grades provide progressively higher solubility for size press and surface applications.

The main difference is the degree of sulphonation which affects solubility and affinity for cellulose. Lower sulphonated grades generally have stronger fibre affinity while higher sulphonated grades offer greater solubility and are useful in surface applications.
OBA can be added at the wet end through the size press or in coating formulations. The best dosing point depends on the paper grade furnish process conditions and required brightness.
Dosage depends on furnish initial brightness, recycled fibre content application point and target whiteness. A controlled dose trial on the actual stock is the most reliable way to determine the economical working level.
Yes. Share your paper grade furnish dosing point current brightener and target brightness. We can recommend a suitable grade and provide a sample for laboratory or mill evaluation.
